One of the most impactful divisions of design in my life has been design for print. Something about the tangible nature of holding the finished work in your hand, or seeing it up on a bus stop or bulletin board elevates the satisfaction of producing the work over digital-only work. While we love using these screens, there's nothing like the design that penetrates into the real world.
The products I've helped come to life with label & packaging design have all been labors of love. Each creator, from Brooklyn coldbrewers, to winemakers, to jewelry craftspeople has started from a place of passionate interest and grown to an artisan and a crucial element of a community of makers & proprietors sharing their goods & creations with the people they care about. I've been delighted to help those goods become recognizable and demonstrate their quality through my art & design.
